Grant Application Process

Step 1: Review Eligibility, Guidelines & Deadlines

To determine if your project is a good fit for The Huston Foundation, follow the link at the bottom of the page to answer eligibility questions. Then if you are eligible continue on to find out if your proposal is a good fit for what we fund.

Step 2: Create an Account

If you received a grant before 2015, you will see that we have changed our grant application system. Previous grantees and new applicants will have to register for an account since accounts have not been carried over from our prior system.

Step 3: Complete the Online Letter of Inquiry

The Foundation only invites proposals after reviewing a letter of inquiry.
You will receive an email informing you that your Letter of Inquiry was approved or denied.
If it was approved, go to Step 4

Step 4: Complete the Online Grant Application

You will receive an email letting you know that your application was received and if it was complete.

Step 5: Grant Determinations

The Board of Directors will make funding decisions in mid-May for the spring allocations and in mid-November for the fall allocations.
You will receive an e-mail informing you of the grant decision.
